Gouache « Calligraphy » Schmincke

Gouache is a paint...but well diluted, it replaces very advantageously the ink for calligraphy! We can use any gouache as it is of extra-fine quality, but the renowned German brand Schmincke has designed this range of gouaches especially for calligraphy, with finely ground pigments, which makes it possible to obtain an ideal medium for calligraphy with pen (or brush).

12 colors that you can mix to get just about any colors you want.

Like all medium with pigments, gouache is covering (possibility to write on dark paper, with a particularly opaque white), light-resistant and offers the ideal solution for works intended to be permanently exposed.

Naturally, it can also be used as a paint for illumination...
